Assisting Families Fighting Childhood Cancer

multiply your impact with matching donations

We are excited to participate in Midland Community Foundation (MCF)’s Matching Program. Under the Match Program, MCF will provide matching funds for NEW contributions made to existing and newly created charitable funds up to $5,000 per individual donor.

The Midlands Mash starts on Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024 and ends on January 6, 2025. Donations can be made online on the Midlands Community Foundation’s website (click the link below) or check by mail to Metro Area Youth Foundation, P.O. Box 540722, Omaha, NE 68154.

dessert dash

Dessert is a privilege to those who win at the Dessert Dash. These desserts were almost too pretty to eat.

not-so-silent-stash & call for cash

There are some lucky people going to watch the Huskers and some other lucky people hanging out in the Ozarks. More importantly, there will be lots of financial support available for families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.

thank you sponsors and donors

We value our sponsors that made this event a success. Thank you!

did you miss the splash? don’t worry you can still support.

Sometimes timing does not work for everyone, but you can still make a difference for these families by donating to the Metro Area Youth Foundation.

MAYF brought you an exclusive look at a grand collection of cars and more

Guests of MAYF’s Cars & Guitars Bash explored a stunning museum featuring more than 125 meticulously restored American Muscle Cars, a diverse collection of autographed guitars, and other unique collectibles, typically closed to the public, on May 9, 2024.

In addition to getting an eyeful of beautiful restored cars and an eclectic collection of valuables, guests met this year’s Ambassador, Joe, an Iowa teenager fighting childhood cancer.

Thanks, in large part to our sponsors and our host, Peter Fink, the benefit brought in enough financial assistance to support at least 30 families who will fight a form of childhood cancer at Children’s Hospital or Nebraska Medicine in the next 3 months.
