These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by Metro Area Youth Foundation, Inc. (“MAYF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at metroareayouthfoundation.org, including donations, event registrations, sponsorship purchases, website forms, communications, and other services made available through the website.
By using the website, you agree to these Terms.
1. About MAYF
Metro Area Youth Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children and their families, with a focus on providing financial assistance to families fighting pediatric cancer.
MAYF also conducts fundraising events and activities and works with donors, sponsors, volunteers, hospitals, social workers, community partners, and other supporters to further its charitable mission.
2. Website Use
You may use the MAYF website only for lawful purposes.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated by MAYF, donations are generally non-refundable.

4. Event Tickets, Sponsorships, and Purchases
MAYF may offer event tickets, sponsorship opportunities, registrations, fundraising items, or other purchases through its website.

MAYF reserves the right to modify event programming, schedules, venues, activities, or other details when reasonably necessary.
5. Charitable Assistance
Information provided on the website regarding MAYF financial assistance is general information and does not guarantee eligibility, approval, or payment.
Applications or requests for assistance may be subject to eligibility requirements, available funding, verification, approval processes, hospital or social-worker involvement, and other program requirements established by MAYF.
MAYF reserves the right to approve, deny, prioritize, or limit assistance consistent with its charitable mission, policies, available resources, and applicable law.
6. Communications
If you submit your contact information to MAYF, we may use that information to respond to your request and provide communications related to your interaction with MAYF.
Where you separately consent to marketing or promotional communications, MAYF may send information regarding events, fundraising activities, donation opportunities, organizational news, special campaigns, or other ways to support MAYF.
Consent to receive promotional communications is not required as a condition of making a donation, purchasing an event ticket, receiving charitable assistance, or otherwise doing business with MAYF.
7. SMS Messaging Terms
When you opt in to receive text messages from Metro Area Youth Foundation, you may receive messages regarding MAYF events, fundraising activities, volunteer opportunities, donation opportunities, organizational updates, confirmations, service-related notifications, and other communications consistent with the type of messages for which you provided consent.
Marketing and non-marketing text-message consent may be requested separately.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text “STOP” in response to a MAYF text message. After you send “STOP,” we may send you an SMS message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that messaging program. If you wish to receive messages again, you may opt in again in the same manner you originally subscribed.

8. Intellectual Property
